I'm a big, artsy fartsy, DIY-er. It's rare that I will purchase home decor because I usually feel I can recreate it, o or make something better. Recently, I haven't been as good as usual, but I also feel incredibly guilty every time I give someone a store-bought card. I've always been into card making, scrapbooking, painting, graphic design, photography... you name it! I haven't had all my usual crafty materials since moving to Florida, but I purchased a few items this past weekend to enhance my crafty, DIY life.
One of my fantastic finds was a stamp kit from Michael's, which I plan to utilize obsessively as the stamps are representative of me. I will certainly be using them as labels on the back of some homemade items. Be on the lookout! I used the stamps on a quick art journal page with real flowers and petals:

I am thankful for my artistic side, which (1) Saves me money, (2) Makes others happy, (3) Provides me with a creative outlet, (4) Has been (and always will be) one of my greatest passions. More specifically, I am thankful for fun stamps and Michael's.
